Dual Souled
A downloadable game
It is the Age of the Fallen Sun. The world is a crumbling ruin slowly being reclaimed by nature itself. Mankind survived in small pockets built on a fallen industrial empire’s bones. Solar technology and hydro-tech keep these communities alive. A communal, anarchistic way of life has arisen.
Yet from the bowels of the Earth, monstrous beings spawned from the pollution of the fallen industrial empire have awakened. These creatures, known as the Fallen, now attack and threaten the last vestiges of civilization.
Only the Dual Souled have the power to stop them. The Dual Souled are Heroes, Mystics, Shamans, Bards, and Guardians imbued with supernatural power. All walk, or in some cases destroy, the lines between Gender. Existing both without and in between, they co-exist between the Realm of the Flesh and the Realm of the Spirit, granting them epic supernatural abilities.
Take your sword. Chant the Old Tongue.
Arm your Sun Cannon.
It’s time to fight The Fallen.
Dual Souled is a Powered by the Apocalypse game of epic solarpunk fantasy action with queer heroes, featuring elements of eldritch horror as a direct metaphor for the dangers of climate change. Inspired by Final Fantasy, the Solarpunk Manifesto, and the radical queer leftist movement. This is the ash-can playkit. I will be expanding the book in the future. For now have a blast saving the world from the remnants of industrial empire.
